Periodic Medical Assessments


Periodic Health Assessments are completed on an annual basis and results are compared to recognize and identify any health concerns.  Our health monitoring is an effective way to prevent injury and disability, while having a positive effect on employee heath, wellness and productivity.  Help maintain the long-term health of valued employees, particularly those who may be exposed to harmful substances or hazardous working conditions. 

Industry regulation and employer requirements can make it mandatory for an employee to take periodic medicals. For example, pilots, air traffic controllers, law enforcement, railway employees, offshore workers, seafarers, marine workers, miners and others employed in safety sensitive work

Who conducts this service?
Periodic Health Assessments are conducted by a TriMedical Physician.

Hours involved?
A Periodic Health Assessments may take up to 1 hour to conduct.

Who pays for the service?
Periodic Health Assessments are paid for by the employer who requested the service.

Functional Capacity Evaluations are used to summarize the impact of injuries on workplace performance and quality of life.

Periodic medicals are mandatory physical exams that take place at regular intervals during an employee’s tenure on the job.
